K. Webster has taken us back to my favorite naughty metropolis, Taboo Town. I’m sure that she has a better name for that town than that, but that’s what I call it in my head, and if you’ve read any of the stories, you’ll know why I call it that. The characters in her books try really hard to break every single taboo that they can. And I get to enjoy watching them do it.
The nice thing about these stories, other than the fact that they are truly, truly filthy, is that they are a quick read, so if you are needing a super quick, super dirty read, then one of her little taboo treats is your dirty martini.
Today’s book is Renner’s Rules. Back in high school, did you have a crush on a teacher? Well, that’s basically what happens here, with a lovely K. Webster twist.
Back in the day, Adam Renner wasn’t a high school principal. He was a wet behind the ears 19 year old in the military. In an attack, he almost died, but was saved by his friend Mateo Bonilla, and he left the military. Adam decided to follow in his mother’s footsteps and go into education and eventually became the principal of the local high school.
Meanwhile, in Miami, Mateo was happily married with a lovely little girl. He was having a good life until his wife died. Then he pulled away from his daughter, Karelma. When he’s told that she’s fucking and drugging her way through life, Mateo calls Adam and asks him to let Elma come to live with him and go to his school. Against his better judgment, Adam agrees. After all, Mateo saved his life.
Neither Elma or Adam know what to expect, but they end up getting saddled with each other and trying to figure out how to share a small house when they both think the other one is pretty smoking hot.
Like I said, fillllllthy. I love K’s version of filthy books, just in case you haven’t figured that out. I mean, this is only the what 4th K. Webster book I’ve review in the past few weeks? Anyway, there’s a lot of hot sexy times, a lot of romance, some conflict, and some really fucking stupid high school kids. It’s a great read.
Not a whole lot of spoilers, mostly because it’s short and the taboo treats like this aren’t real plot heavy. I mean, there is some plot, but we aren’t talking like some of K’s other books. So, not a lot for under here.
I really wanted to smack the shit out of that one high school because that’s bullshit to do in the first place. I’m pretty sure he didn’t know how Adam would react, but that was still some serious bullshit.
So, go check this out on Amazon and get your dirty, dirty fix. Happy reading!
