Sara Fields-Alpha

Sara is back with a new book. Alpha is a shifter/omegaverse smashup kind of thing. I really enjoyed reading, and I would like to see more out of this world, because I think that Sara could go so many places with it.

Dawn is a brilliant stem cell biologist. She is one of the tops in her field. Which is why she gets picked up by a super sekrit governmental agency that doesn’t really exist. You know the kind, right? This super sekrit group is in charge of the paranormal world. They are supposed to hide it and control it and police it. And generally, they do not too bad, but… And there’s always a but, isn’t there? So, this group comes to Dawn, and basically abducts her and takes her to their black site so that she can do research because one of the particular groups they watch has been starting to act up. These shifters are starting to get more aggressive, harder to control, all kinds of things. And this gov can’t figure out why the fuck it’s happening. So Dawn is there to figure out what is going on. The first thing she does is get introduced to some of the shifters that have been imprisoned. One of them, a woman named Rebecca, a beta, changes for Dawn, and tells her that the reason the shifters are getting more active is because their alpha has risen and is coming for them. And, oh yeah, Dawn is his mate. And the alpha will be coming for her.

Then we have Kiba, the alpha. He has risen, pretty much by magic. The Earth brought him to life, and he’s going to go rescue his betas and his mate. Then he and his mate will get busy and have all the kids in the world, and the shifter race will be able to carry on.

Kiba is very determined, but he’s also a really good man. He wants to make sure that he takes care of his mate and his people. Of course, that means that he might have to spank the hell out of his mate and kill the people who are holding his people captive. I don’t blame him.

Dawn is really smart, which is both good and bad for her. Good in that she makes things happen that can help everyone. Bad in that she doesn’t always go and talk to people about her ideas. She’s also very determined, which see above. I like her. I like Kiba. I think that they both have the same goals in mind.

I really would like to see stories for Rebecca and Nikita.

Never trust the government.

OK, that’s all for this one. Go check it out! Happy reading!
